"hololive Dreams Gameplay Video & Content Posting Guidelines

The hololive Dreams Project (hereinafter referred to as the ""Project"") has established the following guidelines regarding the posting of videos, livestreams, and other content featuring gameplay footage and screenshots (collectively, ""Gameplay Content"") from the smartphone application hololive Dreams.

These Guidelines apply to all users, whether individuals or organizations (including those affiliated with talent agencies, production companies, or similar organizations). When posting Gameplay Content on social media platforms or video-sharing services (collectively, ""Video Sharing Platforms""), including livestreams (collectively, ""Posts""), please comply with the following rules.

1. Eligible Content and Scope of Permitted Distribution

---Creative Requirements for Videos---

Videos must be based on gameplay that you have personally played and must include your own creative contribution, such as commentary (spoken or written) or original editing.
The following types of Posts, which lack original creative input or do not involve actual gameplay, are strictly prohibited:

  • Silent gameplay videos or livestreams consisting solely of uninterrupted gameplay or automatic playback of in-game content (such as event scenes, holomem Quests, etc.) without your own commentary or editing.
  • Videos or livestreams captured using in-game Auto Play or similar functions primarily for the purpose of viewing or listening to songs or music videos, without actual rhythm gameplay.
  • Content consisting solely of extracted or edited in-game audio materials, including voice clips, background music (BGM), or recorded songs.

---Posting Images---

You may post screenshots or other images that you personally captured while playing the game, provided they are accompanied by your own comments, impressions, or other original text.

---Other Fan Creations---

Please comply with the hololive production Derivative Works Guidelines, available at:

2. Eligible Video Streaming Platforms and Use of Music

Gameplay Content may be posted on commonly used Video Sharing Platforms such as X, YouTube, Niconico, Twitch, and similar services.
However, videos containing in-game audio or recorded songs (including cover songs) may only be posted on platforms that have entered into blanket music licensing agreements with the Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC) and NexTone Inc.
